About Us
I am Daysha Broadway and this is my wonderful husband Jason. I love all animals and live with my Great Danes, and three companion Chihuahuas. We live on ten acres in rural southern Illinois. I currently show in conformation events with AKC, UKC and International. I got my first Dane in 2006 and just a few years later, after lots of learning about the breed and making some mistakes, I realized I wanted show quality Danes. Now I have several wonderful mentors and I enjoy conformation classes, training, and showing my dogs. I am so grateful for the people I've met that have helped me arrive here and the future looks very bright at Breken Danes.
Boys
Our males always have outgoing and sweet dispositions. I look for temperament, structure and type and excellent health. Our studs are the foundation of our pedigrees and contribute so much to the generations of puppies produced.
We do occasionally offer Stud services but are very particular on the females we will breed to. We do require minimum health testing with CHIC to be considered for one of our studs.
We only offer stud services on our dogs if the minimum CHIC testing is completes by our own boys. We also like to test additionally for Hip Dysplasia and patellar laxation.

Girls
Presently we own 4 girls and love them all dearly. One is retired to the couch and another will join her in the life of leisure later this year. My three girls all have great temperment and good structure and have completed their health testing with CHIC#'s and results posted on the OFA website. Our females are our foundations just as much as our boys. Both must compliment each other. If we feel one of our own boys won't compliment a girl we have we do seek Stud services outside our program. When this occurs we do still require the stud we use to have CHIC testing.
